This service involves to create shaded relief map from an elevation map (DEM).
Operation:
shaded_relief
- Creates shaded relief map from an elevation map (DEM).
Request Parameters:
sourceURL
URL of input elevation map
Default format:
GeoTIFF
altitude
Altitude of the sun in degrees above the horizon
Parameter format:
integer
Options:
0-90
Default:
30
azimuth
Azimuth of the sun in degrees to the east of north
Parameter format:
integer
Options:
0-360
Default:
270
zmult
Factor for exaggerating relief
Parameter format:
float
Default:
1.0
scale
Scale factor for converting horizontal units to elevation units
Parameter format:
float
Default:
1.0
units
Set scaling factor (applies to lat./long. locations only)

outputGeoTiffType
Type of output GeoTIFF file. The output Format Type is specified as GeoTIFF
