Raster_ProfileCurvatureService

This service involves to compute profile curvature from a raster map layer of true elevation values.

Operation:

profile_curvature - Generates raster map layer of profile curvature from a raster map layer of true elevation values. Profile curvatures are the curvatures in the direction of steepest slope. The curvatures are expressed as 1/metres. The operation is based on GRASS raster command r.slope.aspect.

Request Parameters:

sourceURL: URL of input raster elevation file; Default format: GeoTIFF
zfactor: Multiplicative factor to convert elevation units to meters; Parameter format: float; Default: 1.0
outputGeoTiffType: Type of output GeoTIFF file. The output Format Type is specified as GeoTIFF; Parameter format: string; Options: Byte, Int16, UInt16, UInt32, Int32, Float32, Float64, CInt16, CInt32, CFloat32, CFloat64

Response Parameters:

returnURL: URL of output profile curvature file
returnFormat: Format of output profile curvature file; Default: GeoTIFF
